Dr Zachary Strong
Dr Zachary Strong completed his MD and Family Medicine residency at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine in Sudbury, Ontario. He has been practicing Family Medicine in the community for the last 4 years and also practices hospital medicine, long-term care and hyperbaric medicine. His passion for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) came following recurrent patient-care experiences that showed the limitations in resources and therapeutic options for those in the North. Now with the brand new Sudbury HBOT Clinic he is excited to provide care to those in need.
Dr Nicholas Fortino
Dr. Nick Fortino is an emergency medicine physician hailing from a small town who enjoys serving the community of Sudbury and northern Ontario. In his off time he enjoys exploring the great outdoors, trying new recipes, delving into the depths of rock-and-roll or a good book and seeking new experiences and hidden stories across the world.
Dr Adam Bignucolo
Dr. Adam Bignucolo, MD, CCFP(EM). I am currently practicing Emergency Medicine in Northern Ontario HSN Sudbury and Espanola General Hospital. I am also a Trauma Team Leader at HSN, work as a surgical assistant in the operating room with the Orthopedics Department and am a co-medical lead for the Emergency Department CQI program. I am excited to be part of Sudbury's HBOT team and look forward to providing this service in the North.
Dr. Renee Jacques
Dr. Renee Jacques is a family physician raised in Sudbury, Ontario. After completing both her medical degree and residency at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, she continues to practice community medicine and serve the local community since 2018.
With a passion for bringing innovative healthcare solutions to Northern Ontario, Dr. Jacques pursued advanced training in hyperbaricmedicine, earning certification from the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS). She is excited to introduce this new service to the region, providing patients with advanced care close to home.
Dr. Samuel Peters
Dr. Samuel Peters obtained his MD from the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM), where he also completed his residency in Family Medicine in Sudbury. Since 2018, he has been providing comprehensive care to patients at Boreal Family Medicine, where he serves as the Director. Dr. Peters is actively involved in regular inpatient care at Health Sciences North (HSN) and contributes to medical education by teaching and mentoring medical students and residents at NOSM.
As a strong advocate for healthcare access in Northern Ontario, Dr. Peters is committed to bringing innovative services to the region and works diligently to enhance physician recruitment and retention in Sudbury. He is enthusiastic about offering Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) as part of a multidisciplinary approach to treating complex medical conditions, expanding advanced treatment options for patients in Sudbury and beyond.
Dr Kelly Graff
Dr. Kelly Graff is a bilingual family physician currently practicing community medicine at Boreal Family Medicine in Sudbury, Ontario. She earned her Doctor of Medicine and completed her Family Medicine Residency at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. Dr. Graff further specialized in hyperbaric medicine through the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society and is dedicated to providing Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to her patients.
Dr Raymond Jacques
Dr. Raymond Jacques has been a dedicated family physician since 1988, after earning his medical degree from the University of Ottawa in 1986. With over three decades of experience, he has contributed significantly to the care of patients providing comprehensive family medicine care, nursing home care, and occupational medicine consulting. He also holds a teaching appointment with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) since its inception. Beyond his medical career, Dr. Jacques has been deeply involved in the Sudbury community, serving as a longtime soccer coach and team doctor, collaborating in neighborhood groups as a key leader on local issues, as well as being a proud member of the Sudbury Rock and Lapidary Society.
Certified in Hyperbaric Medicine in December 2023, Dr. Jacques now leads the Sudbury Hyperbarics and Wound Care Clinic as Medical Director. His focus is on introducing advanced treatments for complicated wounds and other medical conditions, ensuring residents of Sudbury and Northern Ontario have access to high-quality, specialized care close to home.
